Become a Relationship Health Action Taker
I Matter Training is a small organisation and relationship health is a very big issue. Our main current priority is the development of relationship health practice in the Kendal area in partnership with Kendal primary care network and Kendal ICC and with local schools and organisations.
Our training capacity is limited so we are developing a starter level course and membership designed to be accessible and open to a wider audience as a complement to the books on relationship health.
Joining an I Matter Relationship Health Learning Journey means you become an I Matter Relationship Health Action Taker

Kendal We are working with the Kendal Primary Care Network and Kendal ICC to progress thinking about relationship health in the community.
Options for professionals: We are currently developing our professional training and are focussed on building improved understanding of relationship health practice and the building of a team of Link and Lead professionals who can assist with providing joined up thinking.
Options for parents-carers: We offer a funded brief early intervention programme for parents and carers with a Kendal GP who have a concern about wellbeing of a young person, offering a taught 8 session I Matter Fundamentals Course on a Wednesday morning on a rolling programme.
We are aiming to increase access for parents who are highly motivated to learn but cannot access a Wednesday morning class option.
This will include i) Get Started Workshop programme and the I Matter Community Wheel
and ii) self funding options for the online Fundamentals with options for those on low incomes so funding is not the key barrier.
Please Note: The I Matter Learning Journey is trademarked and for personal and professional development only. It is not offered as a fast train the trainer approach, I Matter resources should not be used in professional roles until a professional has a clear license to do so as a Link or Lead Professional. This is to ensure concepts are taught with appropriate level of understanding.
Link and Lead Professionals are equipped to assist and support participants who want to work through the online programme. They are licensed to practice only within the context of organisations with I Matter and Relationship Health informed senior leadership teams (with minimum of 2-3 senior staff members who have completed the I Matter Framework Fundamentals). At present this is only in the Kendal area.
