I Matter in the Kendal Area, UK

All successful journeys start with noticing new details that have been overlooked

I Matter Training for Residents with a Kendal GP

Over the last 6 years work has been progressing in the Kendal area in partnership with the Kendal GP's and local schools.  We are now proud to run the first specialist Relationship Health Service in the NHS which offers an early brief intervention consultation, assessment, training and coaching pathway for parents of children who want to understand more about how to help their own child overcome challenges and want to learn how to progress with a relationship health approach.  We work in partnership with schools and other services.

Dr Cathy Betoin works with Jacqui Wilson, a highly experienced relationship health practitioner to offer the Kendal pathway

Jacqui trained as a gestalt psychotherapist, and also worked as a foster carer. Jacqui and Cathy have worked together for over 10 years in child and family services.

We now run a specialist Relationship Health assessment and training programmme together in the Kendal, South Lakes area employed by the NHS Kendal Primary Care Network and with social prescribing.  So we work actively with GP's and Schools in supporting parents and carers and young people.

Jacqui also works with Cathy on the independent programme and on practitioner training.   Over the past years we have worked with hundreds of parents and professionals
