I Matter Framework - Course Expectations

How to Get Best Value from your Commitment

I Matter Training offers you a journey through many ideas that will seem familiar.

However if things are very challenging right now, your key challenge is to find out which key ideas are still not quite clear for you or for your child.

Finding the missing links in you own understanding is the path to greater wellbeing

Our observation is that in challenging situations there is always some element of The Framework that needs more attention,

However each person is different in terms of which missing elements were key to moving forward

So if you want to see positive changes as a result of your involvement in ths training it is important to do this study work.

We want you to leave your I Matter Framework Training with a set of robust ideas that you will be able to turn back to again and again as you go forward.

We are not trying to 'fix problems'.   We are aiming tor deeper insight so that you can address issues from some new perspectives.

As we are a very small project we also want to offer the active coaching to professionals and parents who are ready to gain from it.

So we need you to complete the study expectations so that you arrive at the Theory to Practice Coaching ready to learn.

What you need to do to get best value from your learning.

1.  Where possible complete this training with your partner

2.  Complete the I Matter Registration Questionnaire - starting to think about your focus child - think about the recommendations

3.  Complete the Foundation A Part 1 online course - this includes section 1 and 2 and registration for the Essentisls course

The Foundation A course is a self-paced process that is aiming to ensure you have a solid foundation in theory.  You watch videos and complete some online reflections.   You will not get a reply to your online Reflections.   If you want to see how others are responding to the material you can make a contribution to the A course forum.   Where possible we encourage you to take part in a small group learning opportunity.   Following the Getting Started workshop hese offer 3 sessions each half term.  Three sessions are included but you can register for s second series.
