This page is the place that organisation involvement starts. We ask you to submit an expression of interest.
We advise it is best to invest in the training of a small in house informed team first
Please note: This I Matter personal learning pathway combines online learning with study support of varied intensity
The I Matter learning journey is designed to support safe, structured, and joined-up learning. For that reason, all pathways begin with a short expression of interest and a supported start.
In our work with organisations our priority is to help develop locality hubs
Locality hubs helps us to:
build local skills that understand local issues
ensure the learning is a fit for families own situations
confirm what local or professional support is in place
clarify whether access is funded or self-funded and how this is progressed
Whereas professional training can be accessed via this site, training for individuals and families who are not professionals is accessed via particiapting organisations in locality hubs.
If you ARE in the area of a Kendal Plus locality hub
If an organisation becomes a partner, they will have:
a page like this for registering a parents interest (this is an example only)
At present these are only held by organisations in the Kendal area
The certified Link professional will be able to help parents complete and submit the key forms.
Completing the intial forms does not enrol anyone immediately.
It helps us confirm the right supported start for you.
I Matter is for psychoeducation and supported learning, not therapy or crisis provision
If you are in Kendal and a parent you can submit an expression of interest here but this is NOT the full process
SUBMIT AN EXPRESSION OF INTEREST
Please note: This is NOT the full process and also not a guarantee that we can offer a place
If you are NOT in the area of a Kendal Plus locality hub
We know mny people are looking for help, so our intention is not to be frustrating.
Our view is that good foundations are important to results and so we have to invest in professional training
In the meantime, our 'open to everyone' - ie not in a locality hub offer is via
the Curious about Relationship Health Community
Via the Curious About community we are pilotting offering a range of options
+ Getting Started workshops
+ Community Wheel Online Project
+ Occasional Fundamentals Training
Opportunities will be advertised via the community.
The focus is on something for families who do not yet have locally trained professionals availlable.
If you are actively interested in being part of such pilots, please
NOT IN KENDAL - ORGANISATIONS EXPRESS AN INTEREST IN I MATTER
Please note: This is not the full process and not a guarantee that we can offer a place
Let us know if you have questions.
Thanks
