How Locality Hubs Work
In some areas, local partner organisations — like schools, GP practices, and community groups —are working together to offer joined up guided help that makes the journey easier. In our work with organisations our priority is to help develop locality hubs
Locality hubs helps us to:
build local skills that understand local issues
ensure the learning is a fit for families own situations
confirm what local or professional support is in place
clarify whether access is funded or self-funded and how this is progressed
Whereas professional training can be accessed via this site, we work towards the situation where training for individuals and families who are not professionals is accessed via particiapting organisations in locality hubs.
You can read about Locality Hubs here. Our first Locality Hub is in Kendal
If that’s available where you are, we’ll help connect you.
But you don’t have to wait for that to help your organisation to start progressing.
