This page is the place that all professional training starts. We ask you to submit an expression of interest with your interest supported by a senior professional from your own setting or a certified I Matter Link professional
Please note: This I Matter professional learning pathway combines online learning with study support of varied intensity
The I Matter approach focuses on building an understanding of the research evidence relevant to relationship health – taught in a very practical way. The goal is to help adults feel clearer more confident, less overwhelmed, and better supported so they can help children thrive.
We aim to support safe, structured, and joined-up learning. For that reason, all pathways begin with a short expression of interest and a supported start.
This helps us:
ensure the learning is right for you and your context
confirm what local or professional support is in place
clarify whether access is funded or self-funded
Completing these forms does not enrol anyone immediately.
It helps us confirm the right supported start for you.
UPCOMING DATES FOR PROFESSIONALS
I Matter is for psychoeducation and supported learning, not therapy or crisis provision.
Once these steps are complete, and subject to our wait lists, we’ll invite you to a short Supported Start Introduction and Q&A so you’re not doing this alone.
I Matter Training is carefully structured so everyone works through the same steps.
You go only as far as you want.

After the introduction there is a step by step process
1. A live 75min workshop - called Get Started and introduction to Community Wheel
2. A 45min questionnaire and a 45min priorities consultation
3. Option to progress to the I Matter Framework Online Fundamentals with varied options for study support
We will decide with you what is likely to be most helpful.
Once all four steps are complete:
The Supported Start helps us make sure the learning will be a appropriate, paced well, and properly supported.
