  • I Matter Training

“The I Matter approach of considering the adults needs alongside those of the children is such a useful way to look at things and has turned the dynamics on its head for me. “EVERY teacher and parent would benefit from this programme. Parent carers are a group of people I would like to get this to. This would be a fantastic opportunity to bring a very isolated group of people together to improve the situation they are in. ”

Parent of child with explosive behaviour

  • I Matter Training

“The registration questionnaire really got me thinking. I realised how isolated I had let myself become and that this was not helping me or my child. I took action the next day and phoned a friend. I also made another follow-up appointment to speak with my GP. ”

What people say about the training

At first I was very reluctant to take part in this training - I couldn't see the point.  However I love how accessible it is and how I can squeeze it into those spare moments in my very busy life.  I can't believe the changes that have happened, which I never thought would be possible.  Parent and professional

To be honest, I was a little offended when this training was offered to me.  I thought 'hey it's not me that's got the problem, its my daughter'.   However I have to be honest, it has really got me thinking.  I have made some real changes.  I react less and am learning so much about myself.  I am so grateful to have had this opportunity.   Parent offered training via GP and social prescriber

This course changed the way I see things and I am now moving forward differently as a partner, as a parent, as a business owner and as a counselling psychotherapist.  Professional

A license can be given by certified Links and Leads to adults to address their own needs; parents; guardians; teachers; teaching assistants; colleagues; therapists and anyone interested in learning more about and helping someone with learning more about relationship health and how to make a difference

You may be a therapist or teacher and once you are familiar with how it all works you may, want to provide a license to parents, school staff or other professionals for those they work with.

How long will the license last for each individual?

Each license offers the opportunity to have access for up to 12 months with a minimum period of 4 months  We audit use and there has to be clear evidence of using the site and progressing with the content or the license will be terminated..

You can pay for the number of licenses you want to purchase. You can only offer the service at a given level for clients if you have 2-3 staff members who have already completed it and the appropriate professional level training.  This ensures you have opportunities to be well informed as a team.

It will be up to you to specify the level that you want people to progress too.   So each person's journey can vary from a few weeks to years depending on your service.

Introduction takes 1-2 hours

Phase 1 Getting Started takes 2 hours plus a 15 day process - usually over 1 month

Phase 2 Fast Fundamentals takes about 4 hours with option to complete the assessments.

Phase 3 Deep Dive normally takes 4-12 months to explore the theory to practice with assessment options

Practitioner Training involves learning how to offer ongoing support and ongoing assessment, treatment and management coaching so it depends if you just want licensees to have core training (Level 2) or whether you want to equip some staff to be able to offer it to your community for months or years to come.
