HOW TO LEARN MORE

At present, professionals and parents in the Kendal area have the opportunity to access relationship health and I Matter informed funded or discounted consultations and Online learning for Autumn 2025 and Spring 2026 via the Kendal Hub Pilot Project.

To access relationship health and I Matter informed consultations, workshops or online training, professionals and linked parents in the Kendal area can speak with certified Link and Lead professionals in their own schools or services.     They can discuss the options for learning more that are provided via those services.    Most learning will happen via consults or workshops provided within the context of the school or service.    Only a few parents-carers and individuals will progress to the online learning journey.

However if professionals and parents are actively motivated to learn they will need a PERSONAL INVITATION.

To access both online First Steps Learning or more indepth I Matter Online Learning:

1.  Professionals must have an invite from a certified Link Professional (registration link sent to you in a personal email.  The link will say PERSONAL INVITATION (PROFESSIONAL)  Everyone reviews the First Steps content first including the First Steps Community Wheel Conversations.    There is then a further opt in to progress to the Indepth Online Introduction and then a final opt in to progress to I Matter Indepth Training.

2.  Parents and Carers or Individuals with an interest in building personal confidence must have an invite from a certified LInk Professional in a participating school or via a participating GP practice (or both) (James Cochrane Practice, Captain French Lane, Station House) or Bentham, Lunesdale and Sedbergh).  The link to register will be sent in a personal email.  These invitations will only be sent to those meeting the criteria for early intervention.  The link will say PERSONAL INVITATION (PARENT-CARER).    Everyone reviews the First Steps content first including the First Steps Community Wheel Conversations.    There is then a further opt in to progress to the Indepth Online Introduction and then a final opt in to progress to I Matter Indepth Training.

If you are working or living in the Kendal area and want to learn more but do not have a personal invitation from a GP or School, you can also

Express an interest Here

If your Kendal GP or School has mentioned I Matter Training please put this information in your expression of interest.

Completing the General Expression of Interest is not a guarantee that we can offer you a funded place on the I Matter Learning Journey.  Funded places are by agreement with the organisations we work with and are focussed on supporting families with an early intervention need.  However showing you are interested can help.
