I Matter Priorities Consultations: Clarify, Focus, and Plan Your Next Steps

Sometimes it can feel overwhelming to know where to start when in a challenging role or when supporting a child, a young person, or a complex situation in your home, workplace, or community. Priorities Consultations give you a structured space to pause, reflect, and decide what matters most — before committing to longer programmes or training.

A General Priorities consultation, or a Specific Priorities Consultation helps you:

  • Make time to think about a specific situation or a specific child and your own relationship and role

  • Understand more about the key challenges and priorities that need attention

  • Build a shared understanding with other people eg colleagues, familiy members or home-school teams

  • Identify practical next steps to improve wellbeing and relationships

For professionals and organisations, consultations can be tailored to your own roles, focusing instead on clarifying priorities and planning actionable next steps.   Consultations can come before or after the Phase 1 Get Started but are advised before the Phase 2 Fast Fundamentals.

For families linked to locality hubs, we offer an optional structured consultation supported by an online questionnaire can provide a baseline, track progress, and support follow-up.

Whether you’re a parent, carer, professional, or organisation, a Priorities Consultation is a safe, low-pressure way to take the first step towards meaningful change.
