I Matter Community Wheel Implementation Sprint - Small Team Cohort

Turn relationship health and I Matter understanding into practical local action:

Progress Your Local Community Wheel Programme and start relationship health conversations in your setting.

Why this Sprint exists

Many organisations understand the I Matter Framework and a relationship health approach in theory, but struggle to embed its implications into day-to-day practice.

The Community Wheel Implementation Sprint is an 8-week, cohort-based programme that helps key staff:

  • Translate learning into practical action

  • Design and implement a tangible Community Wheel Building Programme for their organisation

  • Pilot entry-level relationship health conversations

  • Build shared language and confidence across the team

This implementation sprint bridges foundational learning (Phase 1–2) and deeper practitioner development (Phase 3), creating a clear pathway from theory → practice.

Who it’s for

Participants:

  • Small teams (3–5 people) who will work together throughout the Sprint

  • Staff who interact directly with clients, students, patients, or community members

  • Must have completed Phase 1–2: I Matter Framework Fundamentals

Lead Professional / Link Professional:

  • Each team identifies one Lead Professional to coordinate the cohort and embed the Community Wheel in their organisation

  • Optionally, participants can complete Link Professional accreditation during the Sprint

Senior leaders / managers: Provide oversight and alignment but do not participate directly in the cohort.

  2. Pilot initial relationship health conversations with colleagues, parents, or clients.

  3. Use practical tools, templates, and prompts to make application repeatable.

  4. Reflect on early wins, challenges, and refinement opportunities.

  5. Build shared language and understanding across the cohort.

  6. Create a roadmap for ongoing community building and sustainable practice.
