Two Ways to Get Started with I Matter Online Learning
Everyone comes to I Matter in a different way. Some learners are ready to begin independently. Others are supported through a school, GP practice, or local hub. Both routes lead to the same learning — the difference is how support is introduced at the beginning.
Option 1:
Start Independently
Learn at your own pace
This route suits people who are ready to begin and want flexibility.
- Access to online learning accounts
- Phase 1 only (Get Started) OR
- Both Phase 1-2 Fast Fundamentals
- Includes 2 months free Bronze Weekly Community Q&A for Phase 1 and 6 months for Phase 1-2
- Add extra study support (live sessions and consults) now or later
- Progress at a pace that suits you, with clear next steps when you’re ready
All learners who complete Phase 1 Get Started gain automatic 1 year Core membership of the I Matter Community Wheel

Option 2:
Start through a school, GP practice or locality hub project
For learners supported by an organisation or funded programme and a certified Link Professional
- Express an interest through your school, GP practice, or local hub
- Have a supported conversation to explore readiness and needs
- Funding and support arrangements are confirmed first
- Consults happen before starting
- Online learning and study support begin together on a rolling cohort monthly start
- Local hub workshops when hubs run them
For learners accessing via schools, or hubs with Lead Professionals, part of the fee contributes to in-house study support and guided learning

Second adult in the same family is £15% of cost for online and 50% of cost for study support
For purchase via organisations: 10% off for 5-10 online and 15% off for 10-20 online accounts
