The Mission of the I Matter Relationship Health Network. We aim to
i) Promote the importance of Adult-Child and Adult-Adult Relationship Health for Child and Adult Wellbeing
ii) Support and equip parents and carers and professionals in their important role in a full range of essential skills
iii) Improve early access to informed support for parents and carers and professionals when difficulties are present
iv) Campaign for the need for a more developmentally sensitive and relationship skill focussed curriculum in schools.
v) Support and advocate for a new professional training discipline: Relationship Health Practitioner
WHY JOIN AS AN ORGANISATION?
Shifting a culture in a whole organisation can be a challenging thing to achieve.
When it comes to the issue of relationship health, sometimes small tweaks are needed to some strong existing practices. Sometimes something more substantial is needed.
Organisation membership helps you take forward conversations with your leadership, develop a strategy and ensure that staff who have taken part in I Matter Training can stay connected with the ongoing learning process. Certification can take you on to the next steps.
ORGANISATION MEMBERSHIP
Provides you with a structure to prepare for Getting Started Certification.
The idea is to get started with conversations in your senior leadership team and to embed a planning and review process into your organisational development plan.
You need to have a minimum of 2 staff progressing Five Steps training. You have to achieve Certified Getting Started Organisation status to host an I Matter Organisational Link
CERTIFIED GETTING STARTED ORGANISATION
To achieve this status you must submit a portfolio of evidence demonstrating that your senior leadership have progressed discussions and a planning process around the issue of developing a relationship health development strategy.
Your approach must include planning for supporting skills development in staff, pupils and parents-carers
CERTIFIED PROGRESSING ORGANISATION
To achieve this status you must evidence that you are progressing with staff development as well as leadership development
Progressing Organisation Status provides a programme of opportunities to support theory to practice for staff who are progressing Five Steps training.
CERTIFIED COMMITTED ORGANISATION
To achieve this status you must evidence that you are progressing with pupil skills development through steps to implement the relationship health skills curriculum
Committed Organisation Status provides a programme of opportunities to support progress of pupil skills
CERTIFIED EXTRA COMMITTED ORGANISATION..
To achieve this status you must evidence that you are progressing with parent-carer skills development through active partnership with others
Committed Organisation Status provides a programme of opportunities to support progress of parent-carer skills development
