SUPPORTING PROGRESS WITH ANXIETY AND DEPRESSION WITH AN I MATTER
RELATIONSHIP HEALTH APPROACH 


This course has been designed for practitioners working with clients experiencing anxiety and/or depression across the lifespan with aim to develop an understanding of how to use the I Matter Framework to make sense of how to effectively support progress

It will provide you with practical concepts and skills helping you understand how to be make sense of anxiety and depression including an understanding how progressing of effective relationships can be key to finding the way forward.

SUPPORTING PROGRESS OF CHALLENGING BEHAVIOUR WITH AN I MATTER RELATIONSHIP HEALTH APPROACH

This course has been designed for practitioners working with clients presenting with challenging behaviour across the lifespan.   The focus will be on developing an understanding of how to use the I Matter Framework to effectively support
progress

It will provide you with practical concepts and skills helping you understand how to be make sense of challenging behaviour and understand how progressing effective relationships can be key to finding the way forward.

SUPPORTING PROGRESS OF AuDHD ++
WITH AN I MATTER
RELATIONSHIP HEALTH APPROACH

This course has been designed for practitioners working with clients who have, a diagnosis or are exploring a diagnosis of autism, adhd, odd or other disorders listed in DSMV with aim to develop an understanding of how to use the I Matter Framework to  to effectively support progress

It will provide you with practical concepts and skills helping you understand how to be make sense of some common elements in a full range of listed disorders and understand how progressing effective relationships can be key to finding the way forward.

Course Outcomes

Successful completion of this course leads to I Matter Link Practitioner Status

By the end of the course you will be equipped with the skills, knowledge and understanding needed to take a practical approach to progressing an I Matter Relationship Health approach in your setting to support wellbeing in your role as a practitioner with a special area of interest. You will be able to use the I Matter Framework as a daily practical approach to support yourself in making sense of common conditions and helping inform your decisiong making as to finding the way forward to strengthen improved outcomes. 

If you would like to further develop your understanding of how you can support children  and adults with some of the struggles they may have with their relationships and social and emotional learning, our I Matter Relationship Health Licensed Practitioner could be a fit

Who is it for?

Supporting Progress of anxiety, depression, challenging behaviour and a full range of listed diagnosed conditions with an I Matter Relationship Health approach is a series of classes ideal for any practitioner working with adults and childrena and young people in a teaching, healthcare or social care role.

Suitable for all in an  practitioner role including: childminders, nursery assistants, nursery nurses, nursery practitioners, room leaders, team leaders, play leaders, pre-school staff and early years foundation staff, plus teachers, teaching assistants, health care and community workers. No previous qualifications are required.

For settings that would like to commission a face-to-face training session, there is a flat rate charge of £495 per trainer per day (or part thereof) plus VAT.

What you'll learn

During the live online sessions, you'll explore:

  • The I Matter Framework and a relationship health approach to improving adult and child wellbeing
  • The connection between relationship health and wellbeing and behaviour and mental health and
  • How to develop a whole team or setting approach that supports the wellbeing of adults so they can support social and emotional progress in those who are struggling
  • A framework for understanding the development of skills for relationship health
  • How to build skills for relationship health in your everyday interactions with children and adults who are struggling
  • using the I Matter relationship health curriculum to provide an easy overview of the progression of underlying skills.
  • How to plan and develop specific strategies and activities that support the wellbeing and relationship skills development of all in your setting
  • Incorporating strategies and activities into your everyday routines and structures
  • How to evidence the progress of children and demonstrate impact
  • The role of I Matter Relationship Health Licensed Practitioners and how to support them effectively
Course structure

The course is structured into six virtual training sessions, each with online preparation followed by 75 mins live discussion:

  •  Session 3: Attachment, Alarm and the Brain
  •  Session 4: The Power of Our Beliefs and Attitudes
