Background: Sometimes people are recommended I Matter Training when they are in a very stressed place. Helping very stressed young people and adults was indeed where this programme started.
However there is a difference between online self-paced learning and locally supported learning. If people are highly stressed, it can be difficult to take this type of information in, without help to process it.
All I Matter Online Learning and study support sessions are psychoeducational only. As a self-help programme, this training is NOT intended for:
+ Those who are currently highly stressed or overwhelmed unless there is very good informed study support around
+ Those where there is escalation involving high risk behaviours such as self-harm, substance misuse or safeguarding concerns.
