The I Matter Learning System is designed as a shared journey that can be accessed by parents, professionals, and organisations in different ways, depending on need, context, and funding route.
At its heart, there is one learning journey, built around practical understanding of relationship health — with different levels of support and funding options layered around it.
Some people join independently and self-fund.
Others are supported through a school, primary care network, or local community hub.
However as an organisation, our commitment is to developing locality learning hubs for families
It is possible to move between funded and self-funded routes over time, so funders can play a role in getting individuals and families started.
All routes connect into the same central learning system, so progress is not lost if circumstances change.
The I Matter journey has three core stages:
Get Started and the Wheel – a low-commitment introduction based on live interactive workshops, offered centrally or locally
Core Learning (Fast Fundamentals) – structured learning with study support via central or locality providers
Extended Learning (Full Fundamentals and Deep Dive) – optional coaching, reflection, and applied practice
Each stage comprises:
Some online content
A study support element based on discussion
The online and the study support elements can be accessed:
independently (self-funded), or
through organisational or locality funding where available.
Organisations such as schools become certified to provide access to the online training courses and consultations for parent
They work with their own community to develop a responsive study support package that can draw on funded and self-funded options.
Below you’ll find the typical options and costs, along with guidance on how different people and organisations usually engage.
When you have had a look the next step is to choose your pathway and Express an Interest (ie in professional or personal pathways)
If you have an invite from a local certified link please express your intterest via the page they provide you..
You don’t need to decide everything at the start.
Many people:
begin with curiosity,
commit to core learning and awareness building when ready,
and add more depth study with consultations support later if needed.
This page shows the shared structure and typical pricing, while individual schools, PCNs, or locality hubs may offer funded or subsidised access.
A key element of the I Matter Learning Journey is that the course is designed to build self-awareness and reflective skills in adult participants, supporting the ability to consider current situations affecting self and others, from the perspective of an informed and curious but non-judgemental and compassionate observer. These are skills that are key to any adult's ability to be effective with a relationship health approach.
The I Matter Framework takes time to digest and so we like to support a process of gaining an understanding of the Big Picture before consolidating and building more depth understanding.
