I Matter Training equips professionals and parents with a solid foundation for confidence in Relationship Health practice with children and with families in a variety of roles. Our focus is on putting Relationship Health understanding at the centre of all work to improve key outcomes for children in physical health, mental health, education and crime.
I Matter Core Programme Courses open for registration on a termly rolling programme. However you can start any time and join the live series when it gets started again. I Matter Extended Journey: All: Foundation, Intermediate, Advanced: (Focus on Your Own Direct Relationships)
The I Matter Foundation, Intermediate and Advanced offers a consolidation of the I Matter Framework.
It is the necessary step for being certified as an I Matter Professional or Parent-Carer Mentor or as stepping stone to Supporting Others training
This is a 12 month programme with additional resources and fortnightly study support sessions. Modular purchase is possible
Foundation Stage: Consolidating Foundation Understanding
Intermediate Stage: Thinking Developmentally
Advanced Stage: Advanced Applications
The Extended Programme Q&A sessions run on a Thursday 8.30-9.30pm Foundation (week 1&3) and Intermediate (week 2&4)
The Advanced Programme sessions run on a Thursday 5.30-6.30 Week 1 and 3
Supporting Others on an I Matter Journey: Facilitator and Lead Professional Training (Focus on Supporting Other Adults)
The Facilitator Role involves supporting the Awareness Programme.. The Lead Professional role involves working with us in a partnership approach to provide study support for online learning for parents or inhouse staff, or via I Matter DIrect for the Core Programme. You will learn to supporting professionals, parents or young people.
You and your employing organisation must be members of the I Matter Project
The supporting others sessions run weekly on a Thursday evening 7-8pm. We focus on Fundamentals (week 1), Core Programme (week 2), use of assessment (Week 3) and Advanced practice (Week 4) We will agree your session attendance at your registration.
Supporting Others: I Matter Advanced Practitioner Training (Focus on Complex Systems and Longer Term Work)
The Advanced Practitioner role is involved in providing study support for parents-carers where there are complex and escalated concerns. The training involves learning to use the I Matter Q indepth assessments to help guide the journey of parents-carers of children where there are additional and longer term needs
I Matter Home and School Community Wheel Membership
The I Matter Wheel is our Parent-Carer focussed community. It aims to:
i) Promote the importance of Adult-Child Relationship Health for Child and Adult Wellbeing
ii) Support and equip parents and carers and professionals in their important role in a full range of essential skills
iii) Improve access to informed support for parents and carers and professionals when difficulties are present.
The monthly home and school session takes place on Tuesdays Week 4 12.00-1.00
The monthly core session takes place on Tuesdays Week 2 5.30-6.30pm
The weekly active session takes pace on Tuesdays Week 1, 3,4 5.30-6.30pm

The Community Wheel and Relationship Health Practice Network Membership
The Relationship Health Practice Network is our professional focussed network.
It was set up alongside the beta publication of Relationship Health The Missing Link in Children's Wellbeing.
Members are professionals who have learned about relationship health thinking via the Book Club and/or the I Matter Framework and who want to network with others and support us with our mission to bring about a shift in emphasis in child and family practice.
We offer a programme of discussions based on the themes raised in the book, networking opportunities with other professionals and opportunity to help guide us in being successful with this important task.
The monthly session takes place on Thursdays Week 4 at 5.30-6.30pm
The quarterly session takes place on Thursdays Week 5 at 5.30-6.30pm

I Matter Organisational Membership
The I Matter Schools Service Membership is intended to help your school or service get started with the right people on board to help children, staff and parents through progressing the two awards: The I Matter Challenge Award Scheme and I Matter Organisational Award Scheme.
When you have two staff who have completed the I Matter Intensive, the next step e is a two year minimum subscription as we want to work with schools and services who have a commitment to a longer term view and we want to help you get strong foundations in place.
Alongside the core subscription there is an annual minimum spend expectation. This is to ensure your membership has impact.
<200 pupils - £500 only., <500 pupils - £1000.. <1000 pupils £1500., <2000 pupils £2500
The organisational Members programme session takes place on Thursdays Week 1, 3, 4 4-5pm. Each week there is different need addressed
(week 1: Pastoral, Week 2, Senior Network , Week 3 Parent Mentor, Week 4 Heads and DIrectors and Seniors, focus Complex needs and needs screening
