Conversations with Experienced Practitioners - National Curriculum and Assessment Review - November 2024
Interviews with Experienced Practitioners

In November 2024 there was a call for views on the national curricluum. As part of this exercise, Cathy recorded interviews with seven experienced practitioners.
In December 2024, Keir Starmer announced that one key Government priority to raise school readiness for young children from 60% to 75%,
A core understanding of statistics tells us that if we aspire to only 75% being schoool ready then apparenly 25% will not be school ready.
What does this mean for the child and for the adults in the classroom after that?
I hope you will find the following interviews and summaries thought provoking and a call to much needed collective action from us all.
Let us know your thoughts!
