Partner Referral and Funded Access

All successful journeys start with noticing new details that have been overlooked

Partner Referral & Funded Access

This page is for GP practices, schools, and locality partners who have an agreed funding plan in place with
I Matter Training.

It provides a simple way to:

  • Apply for funded or discounted professional places
  • Make a learning referral for parents or carers

This is education and supported learning, not therapy or crisis provision.

Funded or Discounted Places for Professionals

For partner organisations who have already agreed funded access for staff as part of a locality or organisational plan.

  • Phase 1 – Get Started
  • Phase 2 – I Matter Fundamentals (with study support)

This is not a request for new funding.

Apply for a funded professional place

Learning Referral for Parents & Carers

For professionals referring parents or carers into already agreed early-intervention learning pathways.

  • Get Started Workshop
  • Community Wheel
  • Phase 2 with agreed study support

This is a learning referral, not a clinical referral.

Relationship Health: Locality Hubs: Kendal Hub

Welcome to the Kendal community hub for Relationship Health. This is the local entry point for professionals, families, and individuals who want to explore how Relationship Health supports adults, children, and the whole community.

Across Kendal, parents, carers, and professionals are working hard to help children and young people thrive, often while managing uncertainty, pressure, and complex needs. Many people sense that relationships are central — but don’t always have shared language, confidence, or practical frameworks to draw on.

If you would like to learn more, you are encouraged to express an interest here as this helps us understand who is interested.  However please be aware that funded places are limited and so all funded places are offered based on an invitation from a certified practitioner.  We currently have funding to support 50% bursaries for supported Fundamentals training for pastoral leads in Kendal schools and for families meeting criteria for early intervention (Band 2)
