However organisations are made of individuals and this is the way that organisations can move forward with the I Matter organisational awards.
The I Matter Organisational Award Scheme is the process that brings together the determination of individual staff members in a manner that supports organisations in a development process. We can work with organisations such as schools, colleges, youth groups and clubs to develop supportive pathways for parents and young people with a full range of needs so as to increase access to I Matter Individual Award programmes.
Professionals who have completed the First Stages of the individual programme, can help develop referral pathways for other parents and young people by becoming an approved Link referral Professional. Some Links can progress to becoming Leads and Advanced Practitioners operating under our banner but helping increase access to supported learning in local communities.
Links and Leads build supportive networks that assist others through their programmes, helping them to reflect on the I Matter ideas and their implications, set personal objectives to build their confidence and achieve their Individual Awards.
Where there is strong commitment from your Head or Director, then some Link and Lead professionals can progress to becoming Leads for their own school or service setting. This requires commitment to taking part in the core training and to the senior leads network.
The I Matter Awards provide a structured way of ensuring that a school or service everyday team practice is grounded in a strong understanding of practical robust theory linked to what the research evidence is really saying about how to support children's mental health and well-being.
The core course content draws together key research implications into a well-organised set of ideas called the I Matter Framework. You will be able to assess your own team starting points and then you will be able to review your progress as you pursue an I Matter Organisational Learning journey over time so that you can see best impact on your organisational culture and best results
