Let's Talk Relationship Health – Kendal

A community learning project helping local people explore Relationship Health and the I Matter Framework.

Through workshops, community conversations and online learning, there are free, low-cost and bursary-supported opportunities to build understanding and confidence in real-life relationships, in partnership with local organisations.

 

 

This project has grown from collaboration between local schools, healthcare services, community organisations and residents who believe Relationship Health matters.

Workshops are scheduled on a rolling monthly programme.  They run when there is evidence of enough interest.
When we receive your expression of interest, you will be sent a further brief questionnaire to indicate your interests:

WHAT A GET STARTED WORKSHOP IS

A friendly introductory workshop exploring Relationship Health and the I Matter Framework. 

Available to residents and professionals in Kendal Plus via funded or self-funded routes.

  • No prior knowledge needed
  • Practical and reflective, not lecture-based
  • Designed to get you thinking


WHAT COMES AFTER A WORKSHOP?

After a Get Started workshop you can choose to:

  • Join the annual online Community Wheel membership
  • Attend local Community Wheel Sessions (small fee may apply)
  • Progress to more in-depth I Matter Relationship Health learning
  • Explore practitioner pathways if relevant to your role

FUNDING SUPPORT

Some funded access to workshops and learning is available in Kendal Plus through partner organisations and time-limited pilot funding. This is not an open-ended entitlement and availability may change over time.

We currently have some 50% bursary funding support for online learning Level 1-2 learning for professionals in schools in the Kendal Plus area.

Professionals in schools who progress training may be able to access funding support with small local microprojects with families

Funding is time-limited and subject to review.

Learning opportunities are provided within available capacity and funding. We are not able to guarantee immediate access or ongoing availability,
