Intermediate Stage Courses for Professionals

The insights of the I Matter Framework can help you with typical children and with children with additional challenges

The intermediate A course starts each half term - 2nd week of half term - Tuesday at 3.00pm.
We are also open for registration for self-paced start any time learning.

Places are limited and we close when we are full.  When registration closes we will be able to add your name to the waiting list and will be able to contact you as soon as more details are available.

Intermediate Stage Courses for Professionals

Intermediate A - Thinking Developmentally £300 
Foundation A and drills into the details of children's social emotional development and the process through which children progress through developmental stages, including an exploration of how difficulties and challenges can emerge in relationship dynamics under pressure.

Intermediate B - Nurturing Growth - £300

This is a further theory to practice course with the same format as the Foundation B.  Now you are starting to observe the details of social emotional development and you will be thinking and observing about how to support the key steps in everyday situations .  This is a vital skills building stage for those supporting children with additional needs

Intermediate B - Extension - Supporting the Longer Term View - £80pcm

The Extension B offers an opportunity to gain support from a community of people who get how challenging your role is and how fascinating and exciting the details can be.  This is a method of getting longer term support with supporting your childs progress.

Wherever possible we encourage professionals to take part in I Matter Courses and Consultations with colleagues or with support from local member schools and services.   I Matter Training will bring up lots of questions and professional issues that need some reflection so you will obtain best value if you register with others from your setting so that you can support your learning in a local context.  If you want to go further school or service membership and commitment to the I Matter Organisational Award is designed to support you on a development process and acts as a signal to parents that you understand the I Matter Framework and are working to support a shared learning approach with them.

WHEN YOU ARE SUPPORTING CHILDREN AND YOUNG PEOPLE WITH ADDITIONAL NEEDS OR CHALLENGES MORE ADVANCED TRAINING IS RECOMMENDED WITH HIGHER LEVELS OF TRAINING SUPPORT TO ENSURE YOU GAIN A DEEPER GRASP OF I MATTER IN PRACTICE.
