Logo_eventbriteCaring for children can be very demanding and there is often very little preparation though there is a lot to learn.

The Essentials of Attachment was a response to seeing many people who wanted to know how to help their child but were full up and struggling to find the guidance and support they needed.

Please be aware that the course touches on issues that can be sensitive.  If there are escalated challenges, we advise you to look for informed local support from an I Matter Informed Practitioner and then we advise you to make it a priority to learn what you can do to help build your skills, strength and confidence.  You Matter!

Here is what participants have said

The Essentials Course provided short clips which gave us key ideas. It as useful having the sentence/ key idea on flip chart. My husband & I returned to the clips & talked over our thoughts - really useful to have a structure to our conversation when we were running out of ways forward.     Parents of Teen

The short clips were easy to fit in to my day. I like a person talking to me rather than reading it. It makes it more personal, more supportive and more reassuring. The reflective question at the end made me look back on what had happened in a positive way about my day-to-day work and at home with my family.     Parent and Teacher
