 I Matter Organisational Bridging Certification Options:  Supporting and Enabling Others

I Matter Stage 1-2 Heads and Directors
and Commissioning Practitioners (Bridging Role)

The I Matter Heads and Directors and Commissioning Certification enables  you to
support your own organisation through the I Matter Awards as they take forward a process of embedding I Matter Principles and supporting the embedding of I Matter Pathways as appropriate.  The Heads and DIrectors and Commissioning Certification can be completed after the Foundation Intensive and after an introduction to Community Wheel Training.
It does not require Foundation B or Foundation Stage Certification.
There is a multiple choice assessment focussed on relationship health awareness and a 1 hour interview with a member of our team.   Approval as a Certified I Matter Head or Director  is needed for your organisation to apply to be an I Matter Host organisation.   In small schools or services a Senior Link may not be needed.

I Matter Stage 1-2 Senior Link Practitioner (Bridging Role)

The I Matter Senior Link Referrer Certification enables  you to work with your organisation to help support the I Matter Awards process through the embedding of I Matter Principles and the development of I Matter Pathways for professional and parent-carer and young person education.  The Senior Link Referrer Certification can be completed after the Foundation Intensive and after an introduction to Community Wheel Training.
It does not require Foundation B or Foundation Stage Certification.
There is a multiple choice assessment focussed on relationship health awareness and a 1 hour interview with a member of our team.   Approval of a Senior Link role is needed for organisations to apply to be an I Matter Host organisation.  Larger schools should expect to have a Head and a Senior Link Certification

I Matter Stage 1-2 Link Referral Practitioner (Bridging Role)

The I Matter Link Referrer Certification enables  you to support your own clients who would benefit from an I Matter Journey.  The Link Referrer Certification can be completed after the Foundation Intensive and after an introduction to Community Wheel Training.
It does not require Foundation B or Foundation Stage Certification.
There is a multiple choice assessment focussed on relationship health awareness and a 1 hour interview with a member of our team.   Approval as Link referrer  is needed to apply to Lead Professional Training.   Foundation Certification also provides the award of Certified Link.

Stage 1 Certification requires that you apply for the Certification plan and that you register for an Extended Membership plan

I Matter Stage 1 Foundation Stage Certification

Evidences that you are equipped with a
good understanding of the I Matter Framework and its implications for practice including the role of relationship health, and the adult role.  Successful certification equips you for the Link role and for progression to Intermediate Professional Training.  You will be well equipped for a wide range of everyday roles with children and young people and their families with an appreciation of how to recognise needs and support relationship health.

You will have

+ Completed Foundation A and B
Started to prepare a log book
Completed a short assessment
based on key I Matter Concepts:
+ Taken part in 6 Stage 1 case supervisions illustrating I Matter concepts
+ Completed a Stage1 Foundation Certification Interview

FOR:

Community Wheel Training

There is a complementary optional training and certification in the use of the Community Wellbeing Wheel.

This requires live participation in
a minimum or 8 Community Wheel
sessions and completion of all 12 and submission of a log book based on 
your experience of running 4 local community wheel sessions

I Matter Stage 1 Intermediate Stage Certification

Evidences that you have a good understanding of how to use I Matter 
Developmental Assessments to think
about priorities and care planning for children in immediate work and home
roles.  Successful certification equips you
for using I Matter assessments to inform your practice decisions with children you
are supporting and for progression to advanced training. You will be well
equipped for supporting the child with additional needs and a variety of ages
and presenting needs

You will have 

+ Completed Intermediate A and B
Submitted a Log Book demonstrating your understanding of key I Matter Foundation and Intermediate Concepts:
+ Assisted as a volunteer study supporter in a Foundation Stage Group
+ Taken part in Licensed Practitioner Training with 14 Stage 1 case supervisions illustrating the planning and delivery of interventions with specific skills building in mind
+ Completed a Stage 2 Intermediate Certification Interview

This is an in-depth training for which you must have regular contact with children with a variety of needs

FOR: Any professional who works with children with complex needs who are anxious or challenging and is responsible for progressing their social development

I Matter Stage 1 Advanced Stage Certification

Evidences that you have a good understanding of the details of the Adult-Child relationship and of how to apply your learning to everyday practices in your setting with a special interest focus of your own choosing.  Successful certification equips you for the informal use of I Matter assessments to support decisions in relation to adults you are supporting and for role of I Matter Stage 1 Certified Practitioner.   You will be well equipped for a pastoral lead role that involves support for parents. This also equips you for progressing to Stage 2 Lead Professional Training or Advanced Practitioner Role.  .

submitted a Log Book demonstrating your understanding of key I Matter Concepts:
+ Assisted as a volunteer study supporter in an Intermediate Group
+ Taken part in Licensed Practitioner
Training with 20 case supervisions
building on the area of your
special nterest
+ Completed a Stage 2 Advanced Certification Interview

 I Matter Stage 2 Certification Options:  Supporting Others

I Matter Stage 2 Lead Professional

The I Matter Lead Professional Certification enables you to run workshops and offer study support for parents and professionals on an I Matter Journey.   The Lead Role can be as a part of the I Matter Direct Team or as part of developing a local offer in a setting with an approved Host Organisation.  It requires you to complete your Stage 1 Certification having gathered a portfolio of evidence and an interview at each stage to evidence your understanding   If accepted as a Lead Trainee there is a period of supported practice as you develop your confidence in delivering support for First Steps, Intensive and Community Wheel Events.   Achievement takes 1-2 years dependent on levels of experience at application.

I Matter Stage 2 Lead Plus Practitioner

The Lead Plus Practitioner Role has an active focus on the assessment and recommendations role and is usually held by a lead member of staff in a school or residential setting, where there are continuous relationships with young people on a daily basis.  It requires that you have completed your Lead Professional Training and completed a period of supported practice in working with children with complex needs and their families using the I Matter Assessments.   You will be licensed to use I Matter tools to support the delivery of a whole school approach to the care of children who are anxious and challenging and their families.  Achievement of this training level also takes 1-2 years dependent on levels of experience at application.

I Matter Stage 2 Advanced Practitioner

The Advanced Practitioner Role has an active focus on the assessment and recommendations role and who want to take forward the development of specialist support pathways for families of children with complex social emotional needs.  We licence professionals who are already highly experienced in the delivery of clinical services and who are familiar with working in complex systems across home and school settings. You will be licensed to support practice in a defined locality or with a defined specialism.  It requires that you have completed your Lead Professional and Lead Plus Training and completed a period of supported practice in working with children with complex needs and their families using the I Matter Assessments.   Achievement of this training level also takes 1-2 years dependent on levels of experience at application.
