How to Help Families

Supporting access to an I Matter Relationship Health Learning Journey

A key aim of this project has been to make it easier to help families get access to timely relevant training that will help them tackle challenges.

Independent Access

The I Matter Relationship Health Learning Journey is now available for self-paced online self-help learning to anyone anywhere.

The core online programme for Level 1-2 includes

+ a Get Started Workshop
+ the opportunity to submit questions for a weekly recorded Q&A and
+ a monthly live session.

The live monthly sessions (Weds 3.45-5.00pm) have a specific interest.  The current timetable is as follows

Week 1 0-4 years
Week 2 5-10 years
Week 3 I Matter Local (Kendal area)
Week 4 11-18 years 

Those with a confirmed professional ID can join the I Matter Professionals Forum.   We do not currently offer a forum for non-professionas

Access via Certified Practitioners and Licensed Organisations

Licensed Organisations and certified practitioners can make it easier for individuals to access I Matter Training with some benefits:


Org Core CPD License and Certified Link License
+ Assisted self-help access (ie at a discounted fee due to bulk purchase) 
Eg made available to professionals as part of a organisation development process
+ Professional study support is an extra.

Org Link License and Certified Link Professional
+ Assisted self-help access for families with a prevention preparation interest (ie at a discounted fee due to bulk purchase).
Eg made available to all parents joining reception or Year 7
+ Link professionals do not provide study support, only support to access the programme
Please note Supported Access to the online learning without study support via organisations is not advised where there are known concerns.

Org Lead License and Certified Lead Professional
+ With local workshops

+ With option for priorities consults, study support package eg 6 sessions 
+ Lead professionals are responsible for determining the study support they put in place 
+ They should start with an initial 5 families and should consider how they would like to evaluate the impact. 
(Requires oversight by local Lead Plus)

Lead Plus License and Certified Lead Plus Professional
+ With priorities consultations
+ With extra study support
+ With extra coaching

Certificates and Certification Programme

It is possible for anyone to work for the self-paced Certificates.  However where possible we encourage everyone to take part in study support as this is how understanding will be deepened.  Certified Support is offered by Certified Lead and Lead Plus professionals.
