We know that relationships are challenging and that learning to implement an I Matter approach on a daily basis demands a  lot of attention to detail and to building your own inner confidence.   

If you are looking for ways to strengthen your own confidence, whether you have completed online study recently or a while ago, participation in a group can be enriching. I Matter in Practice Groups are designed to assist you in staying on track, the groups meet via Zoom for one hour every week or fortnight for 6 sessions

You will

  • Share your unique I Matter learning Journey with others.
  • Increase your motivation and commitment to implement I Matter Principles  on a daily basis.
  • Receive helpful insights and tips from group members who bring a wealth of experience
  • Have questions answered about details of I Matter in Practice supported by your group facilitator and other group members as time permits.

Registration is based on an expression of interest basis.  We then aim to create groups with some balanced needs . Please note that these groups are only available to people who have purchased the I Matter Online Five Steps Programme.  Parents-Carers must have a named Link professional.  Please note that I Matter in Practice groups are not a replacement for individual coaching or local professional advice.

I feel like the entire family unit has become a more open and bonded than before I started I Matter. Its not always been easy, I have felt guilt and sometimes regret looking at how I have handled situations in the past but this comes in a positive way, more of a realisation that it wasnt the best way to handle things, and learning the skills to handle difficult situations calmly and clearly. I do not beat my self up as much at all. I don't feel like a failure for having a child that has challenging moments. I feel successful because I can see her progress and I can feel how much happier we generally all are.

I understand our relationship dynamics so much better now, how things had gone off track, and we are
now working hard to repair and get things fully back on track. My relationship with my son has
improved significantly, I am more confident and clear in my parenting, and we have a shared
understanding and language to communicate at times of high stress. His behaviour has significantly
