I Matter Theory to Practice Study Support Groups
Facilitated by a Certified Practitioner

We offer two types of group discussion each based on 6 sessions
Open groups
Closed Groups

The open group can be joined any time and offers a fortnightly check in focused on Level 1 content Mon 4-5pm
We run one option for professional roles and one option for personal roles

Closed groups are offered by Certified practitioners or practitioners in training
to support discussion of First Course or Fundamentals-Level 1

We know that relationships are challenging and that learning to implement an I Matter approach on a daily basis demands a  lot of attention to detail and to building your own inner confidence.   

If you are looking for ways to strengthen your own confidence, whether you have completed online study recently or a while ago, participation in a group can be enriching. I Matter in Practice Groups are designed to assist you in staying on track, the groups meet via Zoom for one hour every week or fortnight for 6 sessions

We offer two types of Level 1 study support groups - one for professionals focussed on general principles of an I Matter approach.  Study support for parents-carers is more focussed on individual needs and is offered by I Matter Certified practitioners in the parents-carers own community. It requires initial registration step.

You will

  • Share your unique I Matter learning Journey with others.
  • Increase your motivation and commitment to implement I Matter Principles  on a daily basis.
  • Receive helpful insights and tips from group members who bring a wealth of experience
  • Have questions answered about details of I Matter in Practice supported by your group facilitator and other group members as time permits.

Registration is based on an expression of interest basis.  We then aim to create groups with some balanced needs . Please note that these groups are only available to people who have purchased the I Matter Online Five Steps Programme.  Parents-Carers must have a named Link professional.  Please note that I Matter in Practice groups are not a replacement for individual coaching or local professional advice.  

If you would like a more personalized experience, or information about how to apply the program for your specific needs, we encourage you to also book individual coaching.

Each Level 1 online course: starts with a registration process and some initial content, followed by a Getting Started workshop and then 3 sessions.   You will then have 8 further weeks to complete the Level 1 online course and will be offered 3 months free membership of the I Matter Learning Community with fortnightly Q&A with professional or parent-carer focus and discussions based on implementing an I Matter Approach for different roles and scenarios.

Each Level 1 small group
occurs weekly for 4 consecutive weeks on the same day and time covering core content then 2 sessions open discussion.  Please allow 75 minutes for the first session, and the remaining sessions will each be 60 minutes.  All times listed are in GMT.  Please note You must first be registered for a Level 1 online account for both options.

To apply to progress to Level 2-3 you must take part in at least 6 small group discussion sessions
