I Matter Programme for Organisations

Supporting Yourself and Your Clients and Teams through building insight and skills via the I Matter Programme

The I Matter Programme helps organisations strengthen relationship health and I Matter informed practice across teams, support staff wellbeing, and improve outcomes for the families you work with.

Our learning is educational and preventative — it is not therapy or diagnosis, and it does not replace professional assessment or intervention. When extra support is needed, we encourage organisations to ensure families and staff have access to appropriate professional help.

The first step for organisations is to identify senior leads and professionals on your team who are motivated to learn and have excellent skills in connecting with a wide range of adults and young people.     Please note all places are currently offered based on an expression of interest and supported by a certified Link Professional.  However joining the Curious About Relationship Health Community and submitting an expression of interest here helps us know you are interested

How does it work?

The I Matter Learning Journey helps individuals and professionals and teams to understand what’s happening in relationships, why things can feel hard, and what genuinely helps over time.

You don’t need to have any prior knowledge
You don’t need to know much about children
You don’t need to know how far you want to go.

You can:

  • start gently

  • learn at your own pace

  • access support if and when you need it

Many professioanls come to I Matter through their school or local services, while others come independently. Both routes are welcome.

Choose your route - Two ways to access I Matter learning

1️⃣ Through your school or local service (recommended if available)

If your school, primary care network, or local service is part of the I Matter programme, you may be able to:

  • access funded or subsidised learning

  • learn alongside other local professionals

  • share a common language with school or health staff

  • access locality-based support if needed

If your school or local service has shared information about I Matter with you, you’re already on this route.

2️⃣ Independent / self-funded access

You can also join directly as an individual or family.

This route offers:

  • immediate access

  • full privacy

  • central learning and support provided by I Matter Training

Many professionals start independently and later connect with a local offer if one becomes available.
