How Professional Learning Works with I Matter

Professional learning in the I Matter Framework is cohort-based and time-bound, rather than open or self-serve.

This reflects the reflective, relational nature of the work.

What this means in practice:

• Learning happens in scheduled cohorts

• Entry is via expression of interest

• Groups are contained and capped

• There are clear start and end points

• Progression is intentional, not automatic

This approach protects:

• learning quality

• professional safety

• everyone's time and capacity

The Professional Learning Pathway (at a glance)

Most professionals engage through the following pathway:

1. I Matter Fundamentals (Phase 2)
   A 4-month foundational programme

2. Deep Dive: Living I Matter (Phase 3)
   Advanced reflective learning and application

3. Full I Matter Learning Journey (12 months)
   A supported commitment to the complete pathway

You do not need to decide what your long term plan is at the beginning — entry begins with Fundamentals.

What it is
A structured, reflective introduction to the I Matter Framework, designed for professionals who want a shared foundation in relationship health–informed thinking.

Funding and Payment (important)

Professional learning may be:

• Self-funded

• Organisation-funded

• Bursary-supported (where available)

Funding arrangements are clarified after expression of interest, so expectations are clear before any commitment is made.

What This Is — and Is Not

This is not:

• Drop-in training

• Therapy

• Continuous open enrolment

All professional entry begins with an

This allows us to:

• confirm suitability and readiness

• clarify funding and support context

• ensure cohorts remain safe and manageable

Working with Organisations and Localities

Some professionals access learning:

• through a school, GP practice, or community organisation

• as part of a locality pilot or partnership

• alongside colleagues in a shared cohort
