Expression of Interest and Partner Referral and Funded Access

All successful journeys start with noticing new details that have been overlooked

This page is the start place for professionals who want to access I Matter Online learning

Many people – professionals and parents alike – arrive here because they care deeply, are working hard, and still feel unsure how to move things forward.

The I Matter learning journey is designed to support safe, structured, and joined-up learning. For that reason, all pathways begin with a short expression of interest and a supported start.

This helps us:

  • ensure the learning is right for your context

  • confirm what local or professional support is in place

  • clarify whether access is funded or self-funded

Completing these forms does not enrol anyone immediately.
It helps us confirm the right supported start for you.

I Matter is for psychoeducation and supported learning, not therapy or crisis provision.

Expression of Interest in I Matter Training for
Professional Learning
Including Partner Recommendation/Referral & Funding Questions

This page helps us understand your learning intention, the professional support context, and the funding route, so we can invite you to a Supported Start that is safe, suitable, and connected to local support.

Professional Learning Pathway

  1. Expression of Interest (completed by interested professional)
Tell us who you are and your intention to learn.
  2. Professional Endorsement (completed by informed link professional)
Your manager, link professional or lead confirms local support context.
  3. Funding Confirmation (completed by interested professional)
Select whether this is self-funded, bursary funded, or organisationally funded.

What Happens Next

Once all required steps (Expression of Interest, Professional Link Recommendation, and Referral or Funding Confirmation) are received, we will contact you to arrange your Supported Start. Supported Start helps us tailor your learning pathway, confirm your place, and make sure you have the support you need right from the beginning.

You will receive payment information (only if appropriate) and clear instructions on your next steps, including calendar links, learning materials, and how to join Get Started and Community Wheel sessions.

At present access to I Matter Training for Personal-Parent-Carer Learning is via Certified Practitioners in Participating Organisations in Locality Hubs.  At present this is only in the Kendal area.
