🟢 I MATTER® — CHECK ACCESS

What is available to you

Based on your location or organisation, there are four possible types of access.

You may see one, or more options.

🟦 1. I MATTER INFORMED CONSULTATIONS & WORKSHOPS (No-online)

This is for those gaining an orientation to the thinking.  It sits before formal online learning access.

It is:

  • psychoeducational consultation
  • introductory workshops
  • sense-making sessions
  • early engagement / engagement-building work

👉 Purpose:

help people understand what I Matter is and whether it is relevant

🟦 2. CORE ONLINE LEARNING ACCESS

Access to the I Matter online learning system

This is the main learning programme.

It helps you understand relationship health, stress, communication, and behaviour.

This may be:

  • Fully funded in some areas
  • Part-funded through schools, GP practices, or local services
  • Self-funded direct access

👉 In all cases, the learning system is the same

🟨 3. STUDY SUPPORT (WHERE AVAILABLE LOCALLY)

Guided support alongside learning

In some areas, additional support is available to help people engage with the learning system.

This may include:

  • introductory workshops
  • group sessions
  • facilitated reflection or study support
  • practitioner-led guidance

This may be funded through:

  • schools
  • GP / social prescribing
  • local authority or community programmes

👉 Availability varies by area

🟩 4. LOCAL PATHWAYS (STRUCTURED PROGRAMMES)

Joined-up support for specific groups

Some areas offer structured I Matter pathways for groups such as:

  • families with children needing additional support
  • school communities
  • early help / safeguarding pathways
  • GP-linked wellbeing support

These pathways may include:

  • learning access
  • study support
  • local coordination between services

👉 These are locally commissioned pilot or full learning programmes (where available)

🧭 IMPORTANT MESSAGE

All options lead into the same I Matter learning system.

The difference is simple:

  • the nature of the support
  • how access is provided
  • and what level of local support is available
