I Matter Study Supporters  
(and Trainee Study Supporters)


I Matter Study Supporters assist with Preparation for Relationship Health programmes.

The focus is on working with adults or young people with mild to moderate challenges without escalation or complexity.

The goal is to assist participants in progressing through the Level 1 programme and gaining core understanding of the principles set out in the I Matter Framework.

The benefits of working with a study supporter and educator is to assist participants in making time in your week to think about the course material and make links with your own situation.

Study Supporters and Educators are expected to recognise when a situation is beyond the limits of their own experience and ability to practice safely.   

Study Supporters are encouraged to develop their own specialist interests and to work with oversight of an experienced Coach.   To use or support use of Level 1 I Matter resources, Educators must be part of our professional membership network.

I Matter Informed Relationship Health Coaches
(and Trainee Coaches)


I Matter Informed Relationship Health Coaches assist those who are progressing the Level 1 programme or the Level 1-3 programme including where there is higher levels of escalation or complexity.

The focus is usually a longer or more indepth piece of work to help participants gain insight into issues that have become challenging or stuck.

The benefits of working with a coach include the opportunity to work over an extended period with someone who has time to gain a greater level of understanding as well of of working with a practitioner with their own specialist areas of experience.

I Matter Informed Relationship Health Coaches apply for the role providing evidence of their relevant experience and training and are expected to be fully professionally licensed within a discipline such as education, general practice, or social work, or psychology  

Coaches are encouraged to develop their own specialist interests and to work with oversight of an experienced I Matter informed Coach.
To use or support use of Level 1-3 I Matter Resources Coaches must be members of our professional membership network.
