I Matter Client Agreement

Purpose of an I Matter Journey: Our I Matter Mission is to improve child and adult wellbeing through supporting the conditions for healthier happier relationships between adults and young people - especially those who have additional needs
Method in an I Matter Journey: We do this by supporting the responsible adult participants on an I Matter Learning Journey. This journey is based on learning how to set and achieve clear manageable goals for self as well as for child and others. The journey involves a process of learning the I Matter Framework via online study, and personalised coaching. Participants learn to apply the ideas to their own work and/or home life supported by face to face sessions, group calls and an innovative on line learning experience supported by experienced practitioners’.
These guidelines sets out the expectations of the way we can work most successfully together through training, membership or consultation agreements. Each party to an I Matter Journey completes their own agreement.
This Agreement is between: ____You____ and __I Matter Training Ltd__ (the “Company”) and will remain in force so long as you are within the agreed time limits of your organisation membership, to include provision of online courses, study support, consultations.
2. Brief and Fee Structure The agreement covers the provision of
i) Introduction, Getting Started, Fundamentals, Deep Dive
ii) __<specified in your invoice> _ Sessions ___<specified in your invoice>___ length each month or <specified> minute phone calls each month for <specified> months

I Matter Training is delivered using a number of online tools. The website imattertraining.com lists the company Terms and Conditions, and Privacy Policy and Membership Terms and Confidentiality Guidelines and Safeguarding policy and Membership Terms which should be referred to before signing this agreement.
Study Support and Coaching Sessions will be conducted by phone, online or face to face as agreed.
Sessions will take place at a day/time as agreed between us
Payment will be in advance by bank transfer, except where otherwise agreed.

3. The Company’s Commitment:
|
3.1 The Company will provide access to the online training, the I Matter study support, consultation or coaching sessions in association with licensed professionals
3.2 The Company will provide online training and study support and consultations, in a business-to-customer relationship designed to help adults and young people with a legitimate relationship to your business to select clear goals and then progress a strategy/plan for moving towards those goals.
3.3 Participants can make contact between sessions via www.imattertraining.com/contact-us if they have urgent technical questions

4. Your Commitment:
|
4.1 You, or your funding body, agree to pay the Company the Fees as set out in this Agreement and as per specific invoices.
4.2 Participants agree to call or meet the nominated Trainer or Study Supporter or Coach at the specified times and agree to take part in online group calls in a private room. Participants agree to be respectful of other participants at all times and respect confidentiality with adherence to our confidentiality guidelines
4.3 Participants agree to be honest and open, to believe in themselves self and to adopt a positive outlook on the ability to bring about healthy happier relationships for self and child and linked relationships as they go forwards.
4.4 All participants agree to respect our Intellectual Property and use any content we share only for personal non-commercial purposes. Participants agree not to distribute resources to others without our express consent based on requisite training

5. Training, Study Support, Coaching:
|
5.1 Participants and your funding body as applicable, enter into this Agreement with full understanding that achieving goals (in whole or part) cannot be guaranteed and no warranties are given. Participants are responsible for creating the conditions that support happier healthier relationships with your child. You understand we cannot change any other person. Change depends upon participants learning and practising new skills so that you can help your child.
5.2 You and Participants are aware that I Matter training and study support and coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy, psychoanalysis or any other form of mental health care treatment or therapy, nor is it to be used as a substitute for other professional advice by legal, medical, financial, business or other qualified professionals. All guidance given in the course of consultations, study support or coaching is intended only as guidelines as we will not know the full details of your situation.
5.3 In the case of heightened concern or uncertainty, Participants agree to seek out other independent professional guidance in the areas indicated in 5.2. Participants understand that all decisions and actions during the learning period are their own sole responsibility.

6. Your Agenda:
|
6.1 Study Support Session agendas are agreed between us. If a Session is not heading in the direction participants would like, if the Study Supporter or Coach ever says anything the participants don’t feel comfortable with, or if you participants have a concern with the way the Sessions are proceeding you and participants agreed to let the Coach know immediately.

7. Ethics and Confidentiality:
|
7.1 The Company and representatives follow the ethical guidelines of their own professional licensed disciplines and are informed by those based on those offered by the International Coaching Federation . https://www.imattertraining.com/ethical-guidelines
7.2 I Matter Coaching is delivered within a network of licensed professionals. Note taking is limited. Any notes the Coach makes regarding the Session are kept confidential.
7.3 The I Matter Study Supporter or Coach will not use or disclose the information participants share with them during Sessions, except as authorized by participants or as required by law.

7.4 You and participants understand that on occasion the Company may anonymously share generalized information for training or consultation purposes with other professionals. Identities and any information that could lead to participants identification will remain entirely confidential. Your coach may be approached on your request for consultation with other professionals as part of supporting care for your child and family.

8. Admin:
|
8.1 To sign this agreement you will need a nominated link professional in your GP practice or focus child's school. Set up may require a test payment. The Session may be refused if this or future payments have not been made as required by this Agreement.

8.2 Where it is necessary for participants or the Coach to reschedule a Session this will be done by phone at least 48 hours before the scheduled Session.
|
|
8.3 Missed Sessions which are not rescheduled in accordance with this agreement, except in exceptional circumstances (at the Coach’s discretion). will be charged against your account
|

8.4 If participants are late for a Session, the Session will complete at the scheduled time.
|
|
|
9. Termination:
|
9.1 You or the Company may cancel this Agreement in writing (by email or letter), giving at least 7 clear days notice. In the event that you or participants owe money to the Company at the time of cancellation, full payment will become due at the time of cancellation.

9.2 In the unlikely event, that this Agreement is cancelled before all the Sessions you have paid for have been provided, we will endeavour to find a mutually acceptable way forward.

9.3 Upon termination of this Agreement the Company shall immediately cease to be liable to You and Participants in respect of services
|

10. General:
|
10.1 The content of I Matter Training can be experienced as sensitive. Participants must have discussed their support options prior to taking part. In the event of Participants feeling mental, physical or emotional distress (or related ailment or condition) which they believe to be related directly or indirectly to the training or study support Sessions, participants are advised to seek out their agreed support promptly and will not hold the Company liable for any loss or cost incurred (or by any related person). You and Participants will indemnify the Company in the event of any such claim.
10.2 Except as expressly set out in this Agreement and according to the Law, the Company will have no liability to You or to Participants. This Agreement reflects the entire agreement and understanding between You and the Company regarding the matters in this Agreement. This agreement is governed by English Law.

Additional Notes - For I Matter Training and Coaching to help participants bring about the best results:
- Participants are determined in the desire for change and in willingness to change and grow and put in the time needed to see results.
- Participants make every effort to ensure they are prepared mentally, physically and emotionally for training and for study support
- Participants are ready to study and to receive feedback. They are willing to take responsibility for their own part and avoid blaming.
- Participants are willing to be honest and open, and will keep to your commitments and inform their coach immediately if things are not working for them
- Participants are willing to explore, challenge and change thoughts, feelings and actions that you recognise as self-defeating.
- Participants understand your coach will be focused on your child and family best interests as a whole, not just on your personal goals.
- Participants are willing to give the I Matter ideas, the Study Supporter or Coach the benefit of the doubt and wholeheartedly try new concepts or different ways of doing/approaching things.
- Participants recognise their own value and worth and the value of investment made in your personal development.
- Participants understand the need to plan the relationship ending in advance to allow for a degree of closure and wrap-up.
