Dear
The I Matter Community Wheel Local Networks is a pilot project. Our goal is to build a relationship health and I Matter informed network that can create positive opportunities tor adults and young people to learn together, meet others and reduce isolation
The guidelines for The I Matter Community Wheel Local Networks are as follows:
+ Understand that this is a network that is voluntary not done for you.
+ We are exploring how to create opportunities for positive low cost social activities for adults and young people
+ Children and young people under 16 years must always be accompanied by their parents or guardian
+ We aim to support members in developing positive understanding and skills for relationship health informed by the I Matter Framework
+ There will be some regular monthly events
+ Depending on the interests of members other activities can be organised.
+ We are inspired by the work of the organisation U3A and are looking to create a similar positive network for individuals and families.
+ We are still exploring what policies and practices are needed to ensure everyone has a positive, safe experience.
What to expect in a Community Wheel Session We will
+ Share a drink and a biscuit/piece of cake
+ Share a short positive activity
+ Learn about other positive activities that are happening
+ Share some thoughts about activities you would like to see
+ Have some time to chat with others
