I Matter Specialist Assessment and Recommendations
HELPING YOU FIND A WAY FORWARD
I MATTER SPECIALIST ASSESSMENT AND RECOMMENDATIONS
So you want to help a child and you suspect that a wider view is needed. However, how do you know what to focus on in your work with the child and or with their family if you don't clearly know where you are starting or where you are headed?
I Matter Practice includes a number of carefully designed assessment and progress tracking tools that we use to build engagement and track progress. The I Matter Specialist Assessment offers a carefully designed process which helps professionals and parents get an initial fast understanding of the priorities that are needed to help a child who is struggling or challenging, starting with the issue of relationship well-being and health. The assessment involves an online questionnaire and a consultation and some initial training combined with some recommendations. Together these are designed to help you take stock and think about the way forward. Later you will be able to review your progress and ensure you are on track.
Professionals will get experience of these assessment tools as part of their Stage 1 training and can train to use them if they move onto Stage 2 training.
