Options for Senior Leaders
The insights of the I Matter Framework can assist direct and indirect work with children and young people
The next time you have staff. or parents or a child who is struggling or challenging, how would it be to know that YOU were well equipped with a deep understanding yourself of how to help lead your team as effectively and as much positive impact as possible? I Matter Training offers Senior Leaders a solid and practical understanding of what the research evidence is really saying about how to improve outcomes for children and young people and families - especially those who are most vulnerable.
Most importantly I Matter offers YOU an enriching and stimulating development process and a supportive multidisciplinary network that will help you in the many key roles that you play. If you decide to support your organisation on a journey we can also help you with some structured steps.

I Matter Training helps senior leaders to help improve practices in schools and services in relation to children and families who are struggling or challenging by ensuring that you and your team have a strong understanding of what decades of research evidence is really saying about how to improve outcomes for children, especially the most vulnerable. The Senior Leader Training is the same training offered to professionals. This way you get to hear a wide range of experiences. However leadership roles are key so when you apply as a senior leader we are also able to offer you a senior leadership community for study support options.
The training takes you through a carefully designed practical integration of the research conclusions and helps engage participants in a reflective process about their own 'I Matter' role. In an I Matter Training Journey you and your team will be learning about stress, brain development, child development and the adult role and the power of our beliefs and attitudes. This understanding will help support you with direct work with children and will also offer the insight and a structured development process to support much more effective practice with parents and carers.
