ORGANISATIONS

Most of I Matter Training is delivered in partnership with schools and organisations that have longer term relationships with children and families.   If you want to provide I Matter Training in house to your staff, parents and young people, you must first invest in the training of a Lead Professional team.  To get this started requires investment in the training of a minimum of 2 experienced staff who have an interest in work with parents and complex children so that you have at least 1 Lead and 1 Deputy..

Potential Lead professionals or Deputies can let us know that they are interested in is this role at the outset or they can apply to join the Lead Professionals programme as a top up at a reduced fee.  To run a program there should be two professionals who have completed Foundation A and B and at least one though preferably both who has complete Intermediate A.  We can only offer this organisational licence to professionals who are supported by an informed senior leadership team with an interest in developing this area of their own organisational practice.

If you are in a senior leadership position or represent a larger organisation supporting a local network, then the value and importance of completing your own training is that you will have a better insight and understanding of what the research evidence is telling us about the shifts that are needed in delivery practices to improve a range of outcomes for young people.

Please click here for more information about Lead Professional training contact us if you are interested in the Lead Professional role and request the application along side your core training.

YOUNG PEOPLE

At present we only provide I Matter Courses for Young People in partnership with Lead Professionals in member schools and services

HOW DOES I MATTER TRAINING IMPACT EXACTLY?

It's quite simple really - we offer resources and encourage people to take time to think and learn about what is happening around them..
